2007-08 Rich East Speech Team
Sponsors: Ms Stadt, Ms. Ptak, Ms Johnson
The Rich East Rocket Speech Team competes against other schools across the state of Illinois in 13 different speaking or acting events. Our season begins in November, so team meetings and practices start in October, and end in February. Students must be willing to devote 2-3 hours per week practicing and all day on Saturdays for tournaments (no tourneys are scheduled for Thanksgiving Weekend or Winter Break). If you are interested in joining, see our team captains: Chris Klaser and Nadia Crawley, or our coaches: Ms. Stadt, Ms. Ptak, or Ms. Johnson.
