2007-08 Mathletes

The Rich East Rocket Mathlete Team competes against the 11 other SICA schools by taking short quizzes and doing presentations on challenging mathematical topics.   We have 5 competitions a year and a pizza party at the end of the season.   Students who join are typically strong math students who enjoy an extra challenge, want to have something great to put on their college applications, and want to have fun!   If you are interested in joining Mathletes, see our coaches: Ms. Stadt, Ms. Stone, and Ms. Knight.   You must join before the 3 rd meet in November and attend at least 3 meets (including the conference meet in February) to be considered part of the team.   All meets are on Wednesday evenings as shown in the schedule below.   Come see what it's like to be Math-tastic!

•  Contest 1: September 19, 2007, at Rich East - Rich East won 1 st place!!! (2 nd place in SICA overall)
