In conclusion, the Roma are undergoing cruel and inhuman treatments from the governments of their own countries and from the general public. Roms are being stripped of their culture even now, and, though there are measures to ensure the rights of the Romani people, they are not enough. These measures, including the entire European Charter on Romani rights, aren’t being enforced and there are no laws opposing discrimination against Roms. Until the government is absolved from prejudiced officials and laws in favor of the Roma are enforced, Roms will continue to suffer from discrimination, social disadvantages, and physical abuse.
